The Spotify app on iDrive will close, music stops playing and the app is no longer listed in the cars iDrive menu. I made a video of the progress bar. On mine at least you need to do that first to get the phone app connected to the car. So that falls on spotify, except that doesn't help you any now where update bugs are newly discovered and need time to be resolved, if they're resolved at all. Once that was accomplished everything was fine. Such a nice offer of something I cannot use. Both devices were running the latest version of the Spotify and app.

I am not sure what percentage of Spotify's paying users us interested in this topic we are, however, I hope Spotify fixes this, ot give us a reason to keep having our subscription.
